Matching Grants

Color Oklahoma will match up to $1,000 for the purchase of native wildflower seeds for approved sites. We will assist with the whole process, including site and seed selection. We will order seeds and arrange for free sowing by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority or Department of Transportation. To apply CLICK here.

    Current wildflower planting sites supported by Color Oklahoma: State Highway 81 and US Highway 70 in Waurika; Cimarron Turnpike Spur north of Stillwater; and H.E. Bailey Turnpike, Lawton and South. Wildflowers typically are at their best in late spring and early summer. Pictures below are from the Waurika site planting.
