Funding for Color Oklahoma wildflower plantings comes from the sale of wildflower license plates. When a plate is purchased or renewed with the Oklahoma Tax Commission, $20 goes to the Color Oklahoma project. The Color Oklahoma plate replaces the standard plate issued by the state. Vehicles owners no longer need to pay for a regular plate and a special plate.
